Los alumnos de 1º de Bachillerato disfrutaron de un estupendo
día en Gibraltar. Aunque breve, la estancia en este trocito de Gran Bretaña ha
supuesto una experiencia enriquecedora para todos ellos además de divertida.
Ya
desde el primer momento de la mañana nos encontramos con multitud de
situaciones en las que el inglés escrito (carteles, señales de tráfico…)y el
inglés oral convive con el español de una forma espontánea y cotidiana.
La subida en teleférico a la Roca, la
bajada caminado y disfrutando de un paisaje y vistas formidables, así como los
encuentros simpáticos con los monos “The
Apes” creó inolvidables momentos tanto para los alumnos como para las
profesoras acompañantes. Por la tarde los alumnos dedicaron parte de su tiempo
a practicar su inglés, haciendo entrevistas
en la calle, en las tiendas, en los bares… acerca de la vida en
Gibraltar y de algunos aspectos culturales interesantes.
Me gustaría añadir que ha sido un
viaje gratificante al ver a mis alumnos
emocionados cuando entendían el
inglés, cuando se esforzaban por hacerse
entender y cuando disfrutaban de todos los momentos que han tenido ocasión de
vivir.
Finalmente
quiero dar las gracias a mis compañeras Prado y Sara, por su apoyo y compañía y
también a Mary-Ryan, nuestra lectora. Y no quiero olvidar a Óscar y
Antonia, a quienes he echado de menos,
con los que he realizado otros viajes anteriores a Gibraltar, también
estupendos, que espero podamos repetir en cursos futuros.
